This release is not just a normal update.
Over the past weeks, an enormous amount of work has gone into:
• A fully custom-built Launcher developed from scratch • Large Mythic+ backend rewrites & fixes • New unique Mythic+ features • Preparation for future large-scale systems & automated events
The Mythic+ system in particular is
extremely complex, and despite extensive testing, we are almost certain that some bugs or unexpected edge cases will still appear after release — especially issues that simply cannot be reproduced beforehand. We will be actively monitoring everything after launch and fixing problems as quickly as possible. ---
Launcher Requirement
After this update, players will only be able to play through the new Launcher. We understand that some players may not like this change, and we are sorry for the inconvenience — however, this is necessary to ensure that every player has all required files, updates, fixes, and future assets correctly installed. Without this, missing or outdated files could lead to:
• Client crashes • Missing assets • Gameplay issues • Version mismatches • Future update problems
The Launcher allows us to properly maintain the client moving forward and significantly reduces technical issues overall. --- We also know that releasing this on a Saturday evening is not ideal for many players — however, deploying during peak activity allows us to immediately identify and react to issues under real conditions.
